How to create a toast informational notice in a UWP app

In my application, I want to tell the user when a certain action was performed, for example, a record was successfully updated or a new record was added, but there is no built-in control to display such information. Is there something similar to Android Toast.makeText for UWP?

Yes, UWP has toast notifications :)

Here is a sample code to display a simple notification:
