AWS RDS Error: Failed to get account attributes, some console functions may be broken

I am new to AWS. I use their free tier, which includes the Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS). According to this free level consists of the following:

  • 750 hours Amazon RDS Single-AZ db.t2.micro instance use
  • 20 GB of database storage
  • 10 million I / O
  • 20 GB backup storage

I signed up and gave my information, including a payment method, and even “charged” me $ 1 (for verification).

When I go to the RDS control panel, I always get this error ...

Failed to get account attributes, some console features may be discounted.

And if I continue, I will get it ...

An unexpected error has occurred. You can try to continue, but the functionality of the wizard may be violated.

I tried to learn the ways of this. There are several questions related to this in their discussion forums, but they remain unanswered.

Can someone please help me regarding this error? Please let me know as I really need it. Thank you in advance.

This happened to me due to a problem with the payment method. I added my card details, but there was no minimum 1 dollar in the bank account. Therefore, first check the balance of your bank account, then go to your payment method and click "Change." You can edit some parts of the address, for example. Just make sure you change something. Then save the new changes. The problem will be resolved automatically.

Because of $$$. They really want to charge you $ 1 before you are allowed to do anything. Takes 2-8 hours for new accounts.
