Visual Studio 2015 freezes when you open the property page in the right-click menu

I have a website project and Visual Studio freezes when I right-click on the project name in the solution explorer and click on the properties page.

I tried to figure out what VS is doing with Process Monitor, and shows that VS continues to search for %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\ApplicationInsights\vstelf144292e-e3b2-4011-ac90-20e5c03fbce5\*.trn , and the result is NO SUCH FILE , I looked, and the location is an empty folder.

I found a solution suggesting to create an empty a.trn file at the above location. I tried, and ProcMon shows that the file was found, but VS is still stuck in a loop looking for the *.trn file.

VS did show the property page after a very long time, but it freezes again when I try to close the solution, and ProcMon shows VS still trying to find the *.trn file this time.

In addition, when I create the website, it hangs at the Validating Web Site stage, ProcMon shows that this is also due to the fact that VS continues to search for the *.trn file in the above location, even if my a.trn .

I do not have the Insights app installed.

Does anyone know what is going on?

I understood the cause of the problem and has nothing to do with Application Insights.

I ran aspnet_compiler.exe on the command line to build the solution, and in ProcMon I see that it continues to reconnect TCP to my company's db server, the solution points to db sitting on this server, I realized that I need to add my home router ip in the inbound rule of the server firewall, and now everything is working fine.
