Do you have a lion or snow leopard? What version of Xcode do you have?

If you just installed Lion, try downloading Xcode 4. Or just try reinstalling Xcode: https://developer.apple.com/xcode/index.php

try reinstalling Xcode using this command to completely remove Xcode.

sudo / Developer / Library / uninstall-devtools -mode = all
