Protected pages in MediaWiki

Question

I am currently using MediaWiki as a documentation site, with authentication using LDAP.

However, we were trapped. Some pages contain confidential information. For example, links that say "click here to enter." I would like to be able to protect some pages from editing by anyone. I would like to allow some user groups (e.g. employees) to edit these pages.

How to configure page protection by groups in MediaWiki (if possible)?
