How to cancel folder moving in solution explorer in Visual Studio using SVN?

I accidentally moved a very important and large folder from the root project to a subfolder. Now, when I try to move the folder back, it gives me the error message "Unable to create file if this file already exists." How do I move things?

Additional Information: I am also under SVN, and now he wants to launch a new log tree. I just go to win the explorer with Tortoise SVN and push commit. If I just copy and paste the file back to the original folder, SVN wants to delete it when committing. Wow, I can't believe this little thing is creating a huge mess.

Optional: well, I deleted the original folder and copied and pasted a new one, and now the commit system does not work, because it tells me that the folder is not there (I deleted it so that it was not there).

Do you use any version control plugins like AnkhSVN.

According to him, you moved the folder that created it to a new location and updated the solution file as such, but for some reason left a copy of the original folder in the original location on the file system.

If this is the case, you probably need to manually delete it (backup first) outside of VS in Windows Explorer, you can move it back.

But does a folder or file with the same name exist in the root folder?

If so, I will try to remove it first. Make sure you have the “Show All Files” button, clicking “Solution Explorer” to visualize your entire tree on VS2008.
