Managing DateTimePicker in WPF

Question

I am looking for a DateTimePicker control that can be used as a text field so that the user can enter date and time data as desired (i.e. enter the line "11/09/2008 12:30:00"). or can select a date / time from the drop-down list that contains the calendar / time window (what I had in mind is that this control can provide both options as indicated). If you find such a flexible control (and also free), please provide me with the necessary information to receive it.

There, DatePicker and Calendar are controlled from the WPF command, but I do not believe that they handle times (as in your example) - just dates. Worth a look though.

Telerik has a decent DateTimePicker control, but it is not free.

An old question, but for anyone interested ... Extended WPF Toolkit ™ Community Edition is free (also has a premium version) and contains a DateTimePicker , which I found very useful in WPF!

I'm not sure if you want to use jQuery or not know about it. But here is this free / open source jQuery time-based date picker that does exactly what you are looking for, plus much more.
