It depends. Google often visits frequently changing pages than static sites. And if Google does not know that your site exists, how can it then visit (and cache) your site?
If your site is hosted on a new and unknown website, you must tell google to visit you. Or you can remove many links to your site all over the Internet.
If you created a new article on your current cached site, google will find out in a day or two. Or maybe a lot faster. (But you need a link pointing to this new article.) As I said: it all depends;)
Tip. You probably have access to the siteβs log, which tells how often googlebot browses your site!
