MSDN licensing?

A simple question, but one I can not find the answer on the MSDN Subscriber website: How can MSDN Professional Subscriber install the same copy of Windows 2008 in several virtual machines at the same time?

The MSDN keys indicate that they can be used for "multiple activations," but they do not indicate whether they are serial or parallel. I seem to remember that Windows 2008 Enterprise has its own "you can run multiple instances in virtual machines." Do I remember this correctly and does this apply to MSDN subscriptions?

I believe that each key is allocated 10 activations without taking into account the consistency or sequence of settings. If 10 activations are exhausted, you can contact Microsoft to request additional keys.

A back (I have not checked it recently), msdn subscribers also had access to the online concierge chat. While Microsoft employees who worked in this chat room could not answer technical questions (clearly, given the breadth of technical questions to be asked), they could answer real questions about msdn subscriptions and software licenses and rules providing. I asked them if I can use my MSDN license key to install a copy of the OS for @home to work by convention, for example.

If I call you right, you can run 10 activations of each of them simultaneously in a test environment, and not in a production environment.

Yes - while you use them in accordance with the msdn license (development, testing, presentation).

Your key will be valid for 10 activation, but you can request another key.
