Facebook Notification of Wordpress Posting

Question

Is there a way to send a notification on a new WordPress blog to my facebook account? Or maybe a wordpress plugin?

The limitation is that the user does not have to register with facebook, just provide the facebook credentials for the plugin.

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but ... just take the RSS feed and put it here:

http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/editnotes.php?import

Whenever you publish it, it will appear in your notes.

If you go to the Wordpress admin page, click "Control Panel", select my blogs from the drop-down menu. This gives your blogs, publishes, clicks facebook, twitter, etc., you will need to authorize the link. All new messages will also be posted on yr fb / twitter accounts.

Not that I knew. From what I explored, one way to do this would be to create a Facebook Connect application (which is NOT a complete facebook application). If the user decides that he wants to grant permission to your site / blog to connect to the FB account, you can send notifications to their wall, etc.

How to import posts from an external blog? Facebook allows you to quickly and easily import an external blog from another site. On the Notes page, click the Import Blog link on the right side of the page. Enter the URL (web address) of your blog in the text box and check the box below that says you agree to our Terms of Use. To complete the process, click "Save Settings." When you do this, your previous posts will appear as notes, and any new posts you make will be displayed automatically.
