Can you change the background and / or foreground colors of the SWT TabItem?

I would like to change the background and / or foreground color of the text in the SWT TabItem tab; however, it (and this is the class hierarchy) does not seem to have methods for this - and I cannot find any other members that I can get to do this.

Ideas?

It turns out that this is not supported (at least not today) in the TabItem / TabFolder element:
