Does anyone know a good tool (commercial or free) for stress testing flash applications?
Flash Selenium may be what you are looking for. This is more for unit and acceptance testing, not stress testing. I think for stress testing you want to use JMeter and simulate server calls from a Flash application.
If you can get Flash Selenium to work (as Michael Glenn suggested), I also recommend that you check out my company, BrowserMob, which provides load testing using real browsers . Selenium works in browsers, and since they are real browsers, launch Flash the way you expected.
You may be able to do this using the Microsoft Web Application Stress Tool or Borland SilkPerformer .
You might want to take a look at how Adobe does their stress testing .
AppLoader is protocol independent. No separate test licenses for each of the applications used in your enterprise. Because AppLoader views bitmaps on the screen, it can be used to test all applications available from the GUI.
I found a really good service at http://www.cloudpuncher.com/index.shtml
