Using CheckStyle in NetBeans and Configuring CheckStyle Rules

Question

I am using NetBeans 6.5. For CheckStyle, I downloaded and installed the nbcheckstyle.nbm plugin. I can use CheckStyle with this plugin.

I want to set up rules for verification. I cannot do this because it is a .nbm file. Any suggestion on how to configure the rules?

Specify "Configuration File" in the "Options" dialog box.

This can be seen in the screenshot . (Set as netbeans_checks.xml).
