Adobe AIR unlimited access ... how can I restrict it?

I am programming my first application in Adobe AIR, but I noticed that the installation dialog says that my program has unlimited access to the file system and the like, and I think this might scare potential users.

Is there a way to limit it so that the message does not appear in the dialog box?

Thanks.

Nope. You have nothing to hide the warning - and this is good, because there is still no way to make an AIR application that does not have full access to the user's file system. Theoretically, any AIR application can delete random files without telling the user, so a warning is absolutely necessary. I believe that limited AIR applications are what Adobe plans for the future, but so far nothing.

The only thing you can control in this dialog box: if you sign the application with a certificate that the user trusts, your name will appear in the "Publisher" field. Otherwise, it will be "unknown."

(Note: if the user really installs your application, then in the future, when they are updated, you can replace the user dialog. But for the initial installation, you are stuck with the standard one.)
