Tomcat: number of sessions. What is it?

Ok, I think I already know, but I want to make sure, and this surprisingly simple question was surprisingly difficult for Google .: P

In tomcat manager, I have session statistics, for example:

Active Sessions: 1 Number of Sessions: 1 Maximum Number of Active Sessions: 1 Rejected Sessions: 0 Expired Sessions: 0 Active Session Duration: 0 s Active Session Timeout: 0 s Processing Time: 0 ms

Is the number of sessions considered to be only the number of sessions created since the server started?

Session account - the number of current users online.

After the user leaves the site, the session can remain alive for the next x minutes until the expiration date.

Depending on what your reporting tool does, Active Sessions may be the number of sessions that recorded activity with users in the last 5 minutes.

Edit: Expired sessions can be the number of all sessions created and expired since the server started.

Active Sessions: Number of currently active sessions (not expired)

Number of Sessions: The total number of sessions created since the server started.

Expired Sessions: Number of Sessions - Active Sessions
