A syntax highlighting component for .NET.

Question

I am looking for a free .NET component that includes the following features:

• Real-time syntax highlighting (HTML, VBScript, ..)
• Intellisense (I can create my own intellisense library)
• Line number

I found ScintillaNET from

but I wonder if there is a better component? Please help me, thanks!

You can also use ICSharpCode.TextEditor, which is the edit control used in SharpDevelop . I don't think it is available as a separate download, but you can get it using SharpDevelop.

You might want to try Visual Studio Shell or Eclipse offer platforms for creating very powerful IDEs.
