Is it possible to display a hotkey for "comparing with each other" in eclipse?

The key mapping options in eclipse are voluminous, but they do not seem to include "compare with each other." Is something missing?

No, there is no shortcut, but you can open Preferences (General / Keys ), enter "Compare" and assign a shortcut there.

(two teams can match your description:

either "Compare with another branch or version, in the context of CVS
or Compare with another resource ": compare resources, clipboard contents or editors, which certainly applies to Compare to > Each other )

I am using Eclipse Mars 4.5.0. As shown below, uncheck all filters and then you will see the option “Compare with each other”
