Dynamic slider

I need to integrate a dynamic slider into a webpage, which may have a pointer to a hyphen. Since it is being dragged, the value in the corresponding field must also change. There should be no upper limit for the slider. It should have numbers starting with its body, which should automatically change when you drag the pointer at runtime. I mean that when you drag it to the upper end, the range of numbers should dynamically change from 10-20 to 100-200. Also, as soon as the pointer remains at any particular point on the slider, it should return to the orignal position, from where it was dragged, leaving the range of numbers changed. Can anyone help me on this issue? Any framework is welcome (jquery, dojo, script.aculo.us, etc.).

jQuery ui has a slider () that will help you go a long way. With it, you can create a slider, and you can use the β€œslide” option to display where you are on the slider scale very easily. You just need to set the values to "min" and "max", and jQuery will do the calculations. All you need to do is bind the event to the reset position of the slider when the user is sliding and you are set.
