View Flash Documents

Is there a flash based document viewer? I am looking for something similar to the iPaper that uses Scribd.com.

There is a large open source viewer for PDF2SWF: http://www.devaldi.com/?page_id=260

I used PDF2SWF in the past to do basic conversion / viewing of a document in Flash: http://www.swftools.org/pdf2swf.html although I don't think they are as full-featured as the iPaper and Scribd viewers - although it is fully free to use.

You can download here: http://www.swftools.org/download.html

It allows you to convert any PDF file to multi-frame swf. You can optionally embed the viewer in swf (comes with a simple and advanced viewer), or you can create your own if you want more complex functions.

This is an example document with a viewer: http://www.swftools.org/flash/paper5.html

Print2Flash is not bad. Look at here:

http://print2flash.com/

There are a few quirks about asset loading, but it works very well. To support popular formats (pdf, word, excel, etc.) Windows, MS Office and Adobe Reader are required.

Good luck

If you are in a situation where you are using a device that cannot open PDF files, you can try to work around this problem with a tool that converts PDF to SWF-online.

I got a website to recommend http://www.axmag.com/submit.html or upload my local or online PDF on this page.

Take a look at Flashpaper, it is installed as a printer on your computer, and everything that you can print on paper can be considered as a flash object and copied to any website.

http://www.adobe.com/products/flashpaper/

It is not free, but I use it and find it very good.

As long as there are free online services, such as what you specified, this is the one you have, and you can post yurself.
