Best CMS for T-Shirt Directory Site

Hi, my friend who studies CSS wants to make a simple T-shirt catalog site. He also wants to include email marketing in the future. What easy-to-learn CMS - preferable in PHP - do you guys offer for it?

I would choose Drupal as the main CMS, because itโ€™s easier to find out what Joomla is .

Drupal now also has plugins (modules) that you can use to create a store ( Shop Modules on Drupal ), bind it to other data sources, such as SVN, and even make it work.

Personally, I set up tons of Joomla projects, and it's always difficult to make everything simple and fast.

Joomla is really too big if you plan to have a small site.

I recently tried oxid eShop, which I really liked.

It is quite simple, but very flexible and extensible.

It is very easy to understand and comes with a nice AJAX interface.

Also, its design can be changed using the interface editor, which does not require you to know anything about programming.

If you want to look at it first without installing it here, a link to the store and to the admin area . The login for the administration area is admin / admin (user / pass).

It may not be like a full-featured / professional one, for example Magento , which is a full-featured store system, but I'm pretty sure that exactly what your friend needs.

It was also featured in the July php release | architect .

I could recommend OXID e-Shop . Based on this, we created several e-commerce sites and chose it for Magento, XT-Commerce, etc.

The best things I like about OXID are speed and features. Templating is based on SMARTY. We launched our first sites in 1-2 hours, and Magento took an entire day.

Good luck

I usually prefer to create my own administration tools, but lately I've been using Joomla , which is CMS for PHP. I have never done e-commerce, but I have seen several sites that use Joomla and have good e-commerce systems.

If you want to be prepared for the future, look at some e-commerce programs. They are generally better than CMS with ecommerce functionality.

For example, see:
Oscommerce

You can check out CataBlog, a WordPress plugin that makes it easy to upload images and create a catalog or store t-shirts. It uses PayPal as its primary revenue collection, but you can also change the html form displayed for the Buy Now button to integrate it with any other shopping cart.

Magento , of course, is one of the best things to sell.
