How to remove .NET German Language package in Windows 7?

Ive configured my computer with Windows 7 Ultimate German and Visual Studio 2008 in English. Unfortunately, now I receive all messages of the .NET platform in German. This makes it difficult to search the Internet for error messages or post a stack trace in an English forum.

How can I remove a language pack in Windows 7? The .NET Framework seems to be part of the operating system and I can completely remove it. Regular English setup of the .NET Framework does not start on Windows 7.

I need the user interface of my application to be in German, and I want to receive all messages that are not displayed to end users in English.

You can install the English language pack through Windows Update and change your user language. In Windows 7, each user can have a different language pack, I go to the English system + English visual studio.

I think you yourself write all the messages for the user interface of your applications.

Here's an article about an English and German visual studio that might be of interest to you: Heise.de Visual Studio auf Deutsch order Englisch

I prefer to write all user interface messages myself (using ressource files) and develop an English system.
