What SOAP libraries are available for the Google App Engine?

I am trying to deploy an application on Google App Engine that will eventually interact with JIRA and other services on top of SOAP. J2SE 6 API java.xml.soap. * Not supported by GAE JRE. What other simple libraries are available for creating queries and analyzing results by URLConnection?

Axis and CXF seem to be common SOAP / Web Services mechanisms, but they seem somewhat redundant for my needs. Any recommendations?

I don't think Axis / cxf is crowded for you. They are fairly easy to use, solve the problem and are a standardized solution to solve your problem.

If you can explain why you think they are much more than you need, I will be happy to review
