How do you fix recurring typing errors?

I find that I am making repeated mistakes by entering keywords and sentences into code comments. I notice that everything is worse, because my fingers just use words incorrectly.

Is there any solution? How is a typical teacher designed to eliminate repetitive errors?

The only way to fix this is to retrain your muscle memory. If it is important enough to take the time, the only way to reconfigure muscle memory is through repetition.

For example, I tend to spell the word "the" as "teh" because of the same script you're asking about. To reinstall the memory, I simply repeated the word again and again, starting slowly, striving for 100% accuracy and increasing speed. This is the same technique that I use to get better at Guitar Hero.

Try using a different keyboard layout. Thus, you start from scratch and completely pull your fingers. That's right, you should be able to type as fast as you could with qwerty in a few weeks. For example, Dvorak.

XKCD comic about accidental typing

If it was SMBC, then the drawing with black text would be a giraffe prostitute who would wave her eyelashes.

Try texter from one of the LH editors.

One of the best sites to avoid recurring errors is http://www.keybr.com/

It actually tracks the letters you make more mistakes with and generates input lessons accordingly.

I would recommend practicing on TouchTyping.guru - you can choose the test with the most popular words there, so that you quickly improve your overall performance - an error when creating this application will lead to the creation of the following words with the letter in which you made a mistake.

And if you have problems with these letters, you can try to study there by placing a limit on the number of letters used to form words. It focuses on the last letter you select, and they are also sorted by frequency of occurrence in that language.
