Xcode Joint Working Group "Unreachable" after Snow Leopard / Xcode Update

After upgrading to OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and iPhone SDK 3.1 (with Xcode 3.2), the assembly (distributed) of the Xcode common workgroup cannot find or access other computers in our office.

Distributed builds worked fine on OS X 10.5 with iPhone SDK 3.0.

All updated computers are now listed with Unreachable status. Even my own computer, artanis, is listed as inaccessible!

I have already tried all the suggestions listed in Troubleshooting distributed network assemblies . And none of us turned on the OS X firewall.

Any suggestions?

The solution is similar to running Xcode in 32-bit mode - you install it in the Get Info dialog box in Finder.

You must reinstall Xcode using the Snow Leopard DVD version. After that, the iPhone SDK will need to be installed again.

Edit: I just noticed that Apple started distributing Xcode 3.2 with the iPhone 3.1 SDK. I would recommend that you try to completely remove the developer tools, as described in the SDK release notes (see Developer.apple.com), and then reinstall it. You should also check that each computer has a unique name set in the system settings → sharing. As a last resort, I would check that Snow Leopard booted in 32-bit mode (by default), and (for the test only) would try to load Snow Leopard in 64-bit mode (hold keys 6 and 4 at boot).

Edit 2: Check this thread , it seems to be related. Perhaps you should try enabling Xgrid in sharing settings?

I had a problem with installing it, now it works, since the firewall for installation is disabled for xcode and iphone sdk, I think I can fix my problem when it does not want to install strange error files, I think with a firewall on, the installer does not can install and I'm still in 64 bit mode
