I am using Crystal Reports 2008, I want to use several data sources in one report. One connects Informix, and the other connects a redbrick data source. Both are independent data sources and do not have any common value for comparing them. Can we use this option? Pleae tip?
Have you tried it yet? Crystal Reports allows you to add tables through Database Expert from multiple data sources. He will warn you that he may not work, but many times he does.
I had the same problem. But now its OK after using subreport. i.e. Create a subreport using only the details section and paste it into the main report.
According to my colleague, For “independent data sources” that are completely irrelevant, we should use subreport.
