Tomcat Hot Deploy not working

Question

I am having trouble hot installing a new WAR on my Tomcat 6 server.

When I add to my new WAR, I see that Tomcat is trying to deploy it. However, I believe that the problem is to deploy the old war - all the contents of the exploding war folder are deleted - except for the WEB-INF folder.

If I stop the server, delete the WEB-INF folder, and then run it again, my war will be deployed correctly.

Can anyone suggest anything that could happen here?

The solution found, the problem is that Windows locks the folder when Tomcat starts. To remove this lock, just edit the context.xml file in Catalina, change
