Databases / keystores for use with .Net projects

Are there any document databases and / or key stores (e.g. Project Voldemort, MongoDB, etc.) that work well with .Net projects? Most of the options I looked at seem to be more focused on technologies other than Microsoft / Java / open source, and I was wondering if anyone had any experience or recommendations with such solutions for the Microsoft stack.

CouchDB is well known and accessible through .Net , although it is not so nice to install on windows.

Thrift api-compatible servers like cassandra will talk . Net

The Tokyo cabinet can simply be accessed via the (apparently) full .Net port of Tokyo Tiran

MongoDB has several .Net api options

I would suggest that indicating whether the fragments (or other horizontal scaling capabilities) is more or less important, that some level of consistency in your persistent storage, as all of the above compromises the sequence for low latency and good scalability in some way or another .

there is memcachedb, which is persistent, as well as a Tokyo cabinet, which is persistent (and supposedly very fast). Both are compatible with the memcache protocol, and you can use their drivers for .net

The openource.net community driver for mongodb works pretty well and very fast. It can be found on the mongodb homepage

Microsoft "Velocity" does this (also a link to their blog ), but is still in community preview mode (i.e. "beta").

Other projects, such as memcached, have a .NET API.

Community supported c # driver for mongodb avaiable on github

And another promising store of hyphertable key values . You can access this through a C # thrifty client. You can get it here .

I have no experience working with thrifty customers. Therefore, you can clarify this in a hypnotic forum.

Link to Tokyo Cabinet for .Net is for the client driver. There is a Tokyo Cabinet og Tyrant port, which can be downloaded from this site: http://spench.net/drupal/software/tokyocabinet

I have not tested this port.
