Which one would you choose; XCache or APC?

I need opcode cache code in my project. Also will I use datastore (mysql of the returned string) for the cache? What is best for you and WHY?

I would choose APC , but only because it is accepted as part of PHP 6 .

I use XCache because it was written by the same person who wrote lighttpd, which was written for SPEED . It also works on apache.

FWIW I have had great success (in terms of reliability and performance) using XCache. I also use it in conjunction with memcache to speed up session operations and reduce MySQL queries.
