Why is "Run> Run with Performance Tool> Shark" always gray in Xcode? What do you call it?

Here is this Shark entry in my launch menu. But it is always inactive. What's wrong? New xcode with Snow Leopard. Installed all developer tools, including CHUD from scratch. The shark itself works, but does not see any devices, although xcode does. he builds and works on the device. no problems.

I see the same problem when working in iPhone Apps. For MAC applications, it is at least not gray on Snow Leopard.

So ... I suggest creating and running the application, and then find the Shark application and run it manually.

Here is a quick guide that I found helpful.

Good luck

Just to add to the "real" answer, there are a number of things that Xcode gray, which are in order of startup. For example, you can start the Tools manually and connect to your application to launch other tools that Xcode will not allow you to start, as indicated in Shark.
