Differences between IE5 and IE8 Quirks Modes

Question

I have a website that was programmed several years ago and optimized for IE5 / 6. Now that it displays in IE8, some pages do not display correctly. I have confirmed that IE8 displays the page in Quirks mode (not standard mode).

I am told that Quirks mode in IE5 / 6 is different from Quirks mode in IE8.

Is there a website that lists the differences between how IE8 and IE6 display Quirks mode?
