How to get specific versions of the .NET runtime for use in windbg?

I am debugging an old process stall from one of our servers. It was created about a month ago. To work with SOS, I need version 2.0.50727.4016 from mscorwks.dll and mscordacwks.dll for AMD64 architecture.

Is there an official place to get these libraries? I have found https://stackoverflow.com/a/16744161/ which resolves the problem somewhat, but the solution seems a bit hacky and devious.

What is the official Microsoft channel for getting old DLLs?

If I'm not mistaken, this is the official assembly of .NET 2.0 x64. You can take it here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=B44A0000-ACF8-4FA1-AFFB-40E78D788B00&displaylang=en

Just install and find it in \ Microsoft.NET
