Will the 2010 Express visual studio support add-ons?

I know that vs2008 Express did not. I hope this changes with vs2010. Somebody knows? Tie me up?

Edit:

Does anyone have a primary source? Although the answers “As far as I know” may be useful, in this case it still leaves an opportunity - exactly where I started.

I do not know, but I would suggest that this is not so. Microsoft wants to make money, and ad-ins support is one of the biggest reasons to downgrade the standard edition test. Only Ad-in support can replace many things you pay for, for example, SVN and other version control integration, integration of test frames, resharper, etc.

I know this is an old question, but he came up with a search for Visual Studio 2012 Express add-ins.

Here is a quote from a post from Ryan Molden (MSFT) on Visual Studio forums:

"Express does not support AddIns. The reason it has an extension manager is because it supports project / item templates."

My experience is that the same applies to Visual Studio 2012 Express.

As far as I know, the policy regarding add-ons and express versions has not changed.
