Set format # {currentDate} in seam?

I just got an answer to my question that you are displaying the current date. Now I am looking to find a place to change the format of this function. Is it possible?

Or use an alternative to Seam:

 <h:outputText value="#{currentDate}> <s:convertDateTime type="date" dateStyle="medium" /> </h:outputText>
