Sort SSRS tables with the Row & Column group

My matrix has a row group (QuestionText) and a column group (AnswerText).

It looks like this:

  [AnswerText]
 [QuestionText] [AnswerCount]

My data is as follows:

  QuestionText AnswerText AnswerCount
 Question 1 Yes 2
 Question 1 No 1
 Question 2 Yes 3
 Question 2 No 4

Which looks like this:

  Yes no
 Question 1 2 1
 Question 2 3 4

What I would like to do is sort by yes or no. Please note that both questions and answers are just examples, they can be flag colors and red, white, blue ...

Have you tried just adding an order in your sql? so you will order using QuestionText, then AnswerText.

Maybe I don't get it right, but just want to sort by ascending / descending # of Yes and No?

Try this ... Go to the answertext heading and right-click, then go to the interactive sorting tab in the properties.

Select "Groups" instead of "Details" (radial button). In the sort by: field, select the response text group. In the last section, where it says: apply this sorting to all groups and regions of data in: Select the entire / tablix matrix. Not positive, but I had a matrix, and the last step was the key to sorting it ... in details or groupings, etc., Sorting only works if you apply it to the entire tab.
