The easiest way to learn LOC on Eclipse

I am working on a project using Eclipse 3.4.2 and would like to know how many lines of comment code (NCLOC) it has.

It is ok to be a simple plugin, but I am not bloating too much. My car is already slow as it is.

You can try the metric plugin (like the ones I mention in this SO question )

What, plus the good eclipse.ini (making your eclipse work with the latest JDK), should make your configuration capable of displaying what you want in a timely manner.

Use Eclipse regex. Expression: Search-> File, regular expression check.

  • LOC: \ n [\ s] * (no spaces)

  • Comments: [*] +

you can subtract to get NCLOC with the selected resource
