Add html content to page in Liferay

I am new to Liferey. I downloaded Liferay Tomcat bundle v5.2.3 Community Edition from the Liferay website. I can run it successfully. Now I'm trying to create an intranet portal for our company using Liferay. I created an organization in Liferay and added several pages and child pages to it. How to add content to the page? I want to say that I would like to add text and images to the home page and other pages of the portal. I tried the Web Content Display portlet, but it always seems minimized, and I have to maximize it by clicking the maximize button. And also the ability to minimize / increase the portlet is available only at the entrance to the system. Is there any other way to add HTML content to a page so that it looks like a regular html page that anyone can view when they visit the portal?

Thanks.

Displaying web content is really the easiest choice. You probably just made a mistake when using it.

  • Add Web Content Display Port
  • Click the add web content icon in the lower left corner of the portlet
  • You get a rich text editor, but you can also switch to viewing HTML
  • When you're done, click "Save and Approve."

Liferay CMS is built on the concept of a template, structure and article.

  • Structure
  • : The item to be rendered, for example. one text area + one image
  • template: rendering a structure, for example. image in the upper left corner + text around the image
  • : structured evidence

But you should be able to edit your first web content without a structure or template. But I suggest you look at them as soon as you get used to the portal.

After you have added the web content portlet and then added the content, you need to customize the layout template that you want. Select a single column layout so that the portlet is full screen.

I think you are asking how to create a new page of web content type.

  • Pay attention to the content_id of your web content.
  • make sure your web content is approved, published and viewable (permission)
  • create your page by entering your content_id in the "Web Content ID" field

I think that when you do this, you will leave some of the portlet features that Liferay brings to you.
