Twitter Oauth login duration

Does Twitter Oauth provide an opportunity to authorize a consumer for a long period of time?

For example, if a user uses a consumer application that automatically generates status updates, can the user allow this consumer once and then let him send status updates over the next 12 months?

Yes. When the user clicks the "Allow" button, the third-party application receives an access token with an indefinite duration. Currently, tokens are valid until the user cancels them.

When a user permits your application, they are returned to you with the original request markers. They have a limited window before expiration to avoid forced coercion. These request tokens can be exchanged for access tokens that do not currently expire.

Users can cancel access tokens at any time.
