IronRuby and IronPython performance comparison

We strive to implement a scripting engine using Microsoft.Scripting DLR assembly and hosting.

Now does anyone know about any performance difference between IronRuby 1.0 and IronPython 2.6?

As far as I understand, they have different compilers, but IronPython seems more mature and tested, but if anyone has documentation or knowledge on this issue, this will be appreciated.

IronPython had more time to focus on improving performance, but IronRuby has recently improved performance significantly. However, we rarely connect IronRuby to IronPython. Although people can comment here that one or the other is faster, and some special cases / examples can even be used to prove this, today there is no comprehensive comparison.
