How does Yahoo Mail reverse the button through previous clicks in the user interface?

Try the following:

  • Log in to Yahoo Mail.
  • Click inbox.
  • Click Drafts.
  • Click Submitted.
  • Click Spam.
  • Click "Trash."
  • Pay attention to the browser browsing history menu - these different "pages" are not indicated.
  • Now click the "Back" button several times - the browser views each previously pressed "page". (Note that the Forward button is not available, though ...)

Finally, click Logout. Now click the back button. None of the "pages" are in the cache.

How does yahoo do it? They seem to be manipulating using the back button.

I would like an analysis of this, since I would like to implement similar functionality.

They probably use their own browser history manager (source is on github )
