Is there a general term for GUI applications that wrap a command line program?

This happens everywhere with desktop programs and scripts: a GUI application wraps some command-line program to provide a visual effect for its functionality. Is there a general term that describes this GUI application?

I am looking for a technical term for one or two words, not just a โ€œcommand-line shell applicationโ€, etc.

I think the most accurate term is "User Interface". G and the fact that the command line version behind it is just the details.
