Vs2010 performance features

I recently upgraded to VS2010, and overall I have to say that I am very impressed. I used to use ReSharper when working with VS2008, but I found that many of its features were included in VS2010. One of the features that I like the most is the CTRL + command, which allows you to jump to a class or method by writing part of your name. However, I didn’t have time to learn all the new features, so I would be very grateful if one of you shared those that you like best.

I really like Call Hierarchies

With Control + K and Control + T, you can navigate around code that likes a reflector but with source code

Also a great feature of T-SQL IntelliSense

A long-requested feature that will really become :)

Intellisense

Things I like:

  • Several features of .NET 4, especially including:
  • Editing improvements:
    • IntelliSense selection algorithm improved (substring and CamelCase matching)
    • Editing Columns
    • Improvements in C ++ 1000X
  • Other:
    • The whole environment can be painted. This is not trivial, but I think that someone will make a nice extension that will facilitate it.
    • MEF extension and VSIX packaging for extensions
    • Profiler continues to improve
