Change the location of the working folder

I want to change the location of the working folder. How to make changes to my SVN repository? I am using the TortoiseSVN client.

If you want to move the entire working copy, just move it to the file system.

If you want to move the folder in the working copy and then copy the move, right-click on the folder, select TortoiseSVN-> Rename.

Change YourFolder to something like ..\..\NewFolder\AnotherFolder\YourFolder . Note that ..\..\NewFolder\AnotherFolder\ must exist before the operation.

Another way to move files and folders from TortoiseSVN is to use the repository browser. There you can easily drag them to new places. Files are moved to the remote svn repository. You need to update your working copy to allow local movements.

You can simply copy the working folder outside of Tortoise-svn (with a standard copy). After that, Tortoise will work with your new location.
