How to set sound file as ringtone in Android?

I have certain sound files and you want to create an application that allows you to set these sound files as ringtones.

Can someone tell me how to implement it? What API should I use for this purpose?

Then the second important thing you need is a list of all the sound files available on the device. This can be done by executing this piece of code:
