Restarting the agent thread pool after calling shutdown agents

If I call (shutdown-agents) from the REPL and then try to use the agent later, I get an exception saying that the agent pool is unavailable (of course!). The question is, how can I resume the agent thread pool without restarting REPL and lose all my state?

shutdown-agents designed to run before exiting the JVM. As far as I know, you will not be able to restart them later. See here and here .
