Future SQLServer Service Broker

is there any information about the future of Service Broker infrastructure in SQLServer? The groupโ€™s blog ( http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sql_service_broker/ ) is not very active, and minor changes have taken place in the SQL 2008 R2 release. When you create a distributed system that needs asynchronous order, and the infrastructure already has a SQLServer / .NET stack, what are my chances that what I will build will not be obsolete over the next 3 years?

Is there any roadmap available from MS, or did someone here say something about this at a conference such as PDC?

Tim,

A service broker will definitely not expire in the next 3 years. This is the core functionality of Sql Server and an integral part of the Sql Server engine. It is widely used to create core functions (DBMail, Event Notifications, Request Notifications, etc.) and by customers (like MySpace) to create scalable mission-critical applications.
