I am moving our sitecore production server to a new setup, so I set up a new publishing target for the new server so that I can publish both old and new during the transition. They are called live (current server) and live2 (new server).
I have a new database installed and you can switch to it and view it in the content editor on my staging server.
I created a target publication called "live2" (by duplicating the existing target "live").
My permissions (as reported by the access view) are the same for the purposes of publishing "live" and "live2".
When I go to Sitecore> Publish (or the feed publishing button), "live2" is disabled in the goals checklist, so I can’t publish it.
The only account with access to publishing in "live2" is the built-in administrator account.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks Adam
