Why search in zend / eclipse Ctrl-K, not F3

Is there a specific reason for this or just a new key. Does K make any sense for this reason?

In JDT and other plugins, F3 is designed for "Open Ad", but you can re-assign it to Alt - F3 without any problems.
This leaves F3 open for assignment to the Find Next command.

Mac users ask the same question as they are used for Command + G.
