I tried switching architectures to my Xcode project today because I was going to use low-level QuickTime materials that have not yet been ported to 64-bit. When I compiled earlier on x86_64, my application worked fine. Then I switched the arch to i386 and the arrow, my application continues to crash on startup.
The strange thing is that the stack tracker has nothing to do with my own code.
