Wp_head remove_action not working in WP3.0

I used the remove_action function in Wordpress earlier to remove garbage from the entered wp_head, but it seems that with version 3.0 some tags are not removed, as shown below:

remove_action( 'wp_head', 'parent_post_rel_link', 10, 0 );

This should remove the prev prev tag, but it is not. Does anyone know the reason?

Thanks to TheDeadMedic, I found a solution in "wp-includes / default-filters.php". The following removes the following and previous links from wp_head:

 remove_action( 'wp_head', 'adjacent_posts_rel_link_wp_head', 10, 0 );

This is a complete script to remove all "unnecessary" meta tags from <head> :
