WPF Prism and Ribbon Samples / Tutorials

I am looking for a WPF prism with examples and tutorials for tape applications. I have found many that cover a prism or tape, but only a few sources provide any information on the implementation of the two together in one application. Usually the course code is not available. An example with a few simple modules and classic ribbon tab controls is perfect for a start.

Thanks for any help.

Regards, Enzo.

Edit: I have to add that by combining the two, I want to be able to load different modules depending on the ribbon tab selected by the user.

You can find information about a custom WPF preview area adapter here .

Regarding loading modules on demand in Prism, here is another MSDN link covering the topic.

David Winman wrote a good article on tape and prism on CodeProject http://www.codeproject.com/KB/WPF/ViewSwitchingAppsPrism4.aspx

It includes a RegionAdapter for the tape.

There is a " Southridge Practice Lab " on Codeplex (download WPF Futures ). This is quite extensive, but the documentation and the source code are not synchronized (it seems they updated the source of the laboratory work, but did not accompany the documentation), so it can sometimes be painful to get what happens.

It is based on the Microsoft WPF Ribbon Preview library.

Edit:
I do not know a single textbook that covers both. You can check out a series of videos on Prism and Silverlight from Mike Taut . There is also source code for the application made in the last video.
You can then combine the knowledge from Southridge Labs with this Prism lesson.

This weekend I ran into a similar problem, and after much reading and searching, this code appeared, which I published for a review
